Mosaics Return to IMAS posted in Oct 4, 2007 : The International Museum of Art & Science is thrilled to once again offer “Mosaics,” a course for adults 18 & over. A perfect way to relax and express oneself in a creative fashion, “Mosaics” is back by popular demand and once again led by local artist, Judi Ris. Judi is a self-taught multimedia artist with over five years of mosaic experience and forty years of art experience. Having become a full time professional artist in 1990, she lived in Jamaica for 15 years prior to moving to McAllen in 1998. In Jamaica, Judi’s work was on display in four different galleries. Judi’s work can be found in galleries and homes throughout the world and its bright colors and tropical themes always dominate. <More News>
